Mr. President and our retiring Captain welcomed members and guests to the 2021 Captain’s Inauguration on Saturday evening. Prior to the commencement of proceedings, Adrian from the POW Hospice accepted a donation of £2,030 in support of the local community, retaining the strong connection the Club has with the hospice. After accepting the chain of office, our incoming Captain, John Atha thanked everyone for attending and looked forward to representing the Club in the many events, both golfing and social throughout 2022 and supporting the other section captain’s, Alison Walker (Ladies) Russ Green (Seniors), Rob Slater (Rabbits) Ross Andrew (Tigers) and Deven Cranswick (Juniors). They all look forward to another successful year for the Club, and in upholding the traditions of Amateur Golf.
