What an amazing day June 22nd turned out to be, the Big Golf Race started at 5am with the sun shining and the final round was completed at 17.45 with the sun still on our backs.Many thanks to playing partners, Michael Clowrey, Richard Craven, Frank Highley, Neil Seaman and Alf Taylor, their good company and banter kept me going throughout the day.I also want to thank Paul Chambers for organising a reception party at the final green which included the water sprinklers providing a much-needed cold shower.A big thanks to everyone who sponsored me, the total raised so far is £1,458 and the Justgiving page is still open if anyone else wants to contribute, please Click Here to view.
