A stunning January morning welcomed members and guests to our 2019 Captain’s Drive-In. Our Club Captain, Jim Roberts and Lady Captain, Janet Coates played their drives without a hint of nerves down the fairway. A 9-hole AM-AM shotgun event followed with a maximum 18 teams participating. The course played exceptionally well for the time of year, all credit to our Head-Greenkeeper, Gary Anderson and his team for presenting the course so well. After the golf members were treated to a first class hot roast buffet by our caterer, Oliver Sharp. Finally the raffle prizes raised over £200 towards Yorkshire Air Ambulance and almost £180 towards our Junior Academy. We wish Jim and Janet well in their year of office and they both look forward to welcoming you to future events both on and off the golf course.
