Congratulations go to Jason Newton on winning the Top Dog Trophy 2023, beating Paul Flaherty and Stephen Hogg by 1 shot over 36 holes in tough windy conditions. Chantelle Shaw won the Ladies Weale Trophy, winning by 6 shots from Ladies Captain, June Highley. Steven Walton won the Tigers Championship with a nett 69 beating Martyn Williscroft by 1 shot. And an excellent round of golf from our Past Captain, Alf Taylor who won the Rabbits Championship with a nett 66 beating Nic Hutchinson by 2 shots. Well played one and all in those conditions, some excellent golf. A special mention to Martyn Williscroft who recorded not one but 2 hole in ones on the same hole (14th) in the Wednesday Stableford and in his very next game in the Club Championship on Saturday!
