Another great days work from our intrepid volunteers clearing the area to the right of the 11th tee to expose the gorse bushes and enable future growth. Our greens team Gary, Sam, Phil, Paul & Josh did all the technical work while the ‘young guns’ Brian Fisher, Dave Marshall, Jon Wigglesworth, Graham Daniels, Richard Whiteley, Alan Fisher, John Kirby, Stuart Charlesworth & Mr Captain did the graft. This was despite missing the driving force of Team Leader Duncan Moss (man flu) and other regulars Keith Mitchell, Ron Scott and Malcolm Huddlestone! Our next session is next Friday 18th January meeting in the club car park at 8am, – if this bunch of geriatrics can achieve such great results so can you so why not come along and join us?
