It is with sadness that I inform you of the passing of Derek Bowker, Honorary Member and Past Captain. A Member for 53 years Derek was a stalwart supporter of all aspects of the Club, spending many years as junior organiser and who never failed in providing transport to the juniors for their away matches. Derek spent many years serving the Management Committee and had the honour of accepting the Past Captains’ nomination to become Club Captain in 2007. He rarely missed a 200 Club event and regularly attended the Tuesday night quiz. We extend our sympathy to Susan, his family and his many friends at this sad time.
