Congratulations and well played to our long standing Member, Alan Grieveson who this morning holed in one on our 17th hole. Alan informs me he hit the perfect ‘3 wood’ from the yellow tee into a strong head wind witnessed by his playing partner Jim Grady. Alan started playing golf approximately 43 years ago at Normanton and has been a loyal Member of PDGC since 1984. This was Alan’s 7th hole in one during his golfing journey, the last here at Pontefract on the old 17th approximately 12 years ago. Well played Alan, wear your tie with pride!
