As Club Captain, I want to update all members on the great news with our new member recruitment drive. The response has been fantastic with 43 people signing up for the 2019 season plus 13 more via the Play More Golf offering, this after less than 2 months and there are more in the pipeline. Also encouraging has been the brilliant response by existing members to pay the £250 advance on their 2019/20 subscriptions for which we say a huge thankyou for your support.
On behalf of all members I would like to extend a warm welcome to our new players and I know you will all help to ensure their first year at Pontefract will be a great one and ensure they remain with us for many years. I would encourage all new members to take part in the Club competitions, join one of the sections (Seniors, Tigers, Rabbits, Ladies) as this is a great way to quickly meet new people and become part of the club.
