What a great start to the New Year on the Club social scene. The forthcoming Valentines Dinner Dance is just about sold out and the recent fish night and Sunday lunch by Ron and Jackie were very well attended. A further fish night will be held on Friday 18th February and Sunday lunch on 6th March for Members and their guests. A poster and attendance sheet for our Gentlemen’s pre-season dinner with ex- professional footballer Craig Hignett will be advertised in the 19th soon and I look forward to seeing many of you there to kick off another busy year at PDGC. On the golfing front the mild yet windy weather has been a blessing and the course is drying up well. It is great to see so many entries into our 4 weekly competitions in the height of winter!
