In an effort to improve the ecology and conservation of the golf course, several areas have recently been seeded with wildflowers and are defined with blue paint and roped off. Golf balls landing within these boundaries must not be retrieved to allow the best possible germination of the seeds. The golf balls will eventually be donated to the junior section. Please help our hardworking greens staff by respecting these areas of ‘no play zones’, when eventually we will all benefit from a colourful display, adding to what is already an improving course. If your ball lands in these protected zones the nearest point of relief should be taken, no nearer the hole. Thank you. Stuart Charlesworth – Greens Chairman.
