The story so far….. The season got off to a great start with a fine performance in the Hollow Tine Trophy which enabled us to wrest the trophy back from the clutch of the Tigers’ claws. This was followed by an emphatic home victory over Wakefield Woodthorpe before being brought down to earth with a loss away to Scarthingwell. The first leg of the Triclub Trophy was played at Darrington and, although we finished in third place, we are only 3 points behind Normanton and 6 behind Darrington. The next leg is to be played at Normanton on Thursday 6th of June at 4pm. We need another 4 players to make-up the team so PLEASE, if you can play for the team, put your name up on the list or let me know. There is also a list on the notice board for those wanting to play in the Harry Harrison Trophy at Knaresborough on July 11th. I would like to thank all those Rabbits who have played in the matches so far, especially those whom we hauled in at the last minute. To those who haven’t had the experience of playing for the teams before, do put your names down to play, it’s a great way of playing great golf courses for free and making new friends. Here’s to another successful season. Nigel Greenwood. Rabbits Captain.
