Members may have seen the recent road closure notices situated outside New College. The notices state that Park Lane will be closed for deep excavation sewer works between the junction of Portland Avenue and the bus layby for New College between the 4th and 12th August inclusive. The Club had not been advised of these works and it is understood a further meeting is to be held with the local authority and residents affected on Monday. However, it has to be assumed that these works will go ahead and therefore access to the Golf Club will be from North Featherstone only between the above dates. Should anything change a further communication will be issued.
