Both our Scratch and Nett teams started their season on Monday with 4 & 2 wins against strong opposition in Waterton Park (Home) and Wakefield (Away). Sunny and warm conditions provided the backdrop to the evenings golf with Simon Coumbe and Tom Hough securing the winning points for the Scratch team, whilst the dependable Jason Shaw and Jon Wigglesworth did likewise for the Nett team. Next matches are this coming Monday, 20th May, Scratch vs. Moortown (Away) and Nett vs. Moor Allerton (Home). Please do come along and support the teams if you can, the matches starting at 5pm.
