The scratch team have had a tough last 3 games. We played top of the league Horsforth away which was a 4-2 defeat with Tom Hough getting the points. The week after we played Headingley at home and were held to a 3-3 draw with Jason Newton winning his match and Paul Flaherty getting a half. Last week we played local rivals Darrington at home and unfortunately suffering a 4-2 defeat in 3 tight matches with Tom Hough getting the win on the last hole. Next week we play away at Howley Hall in one of the tightest leagues I have known for a while. We currently sit 1 point away from safety but only 2 points away from promotion, so anything could happen on the last day. Thankyou for the continued support of the scratch team, its good to see so many faces turn out on a Monday night to support the lads. All welcome next Monday at Howley to hopefully see us safe or even promoted.
