Seniors News

PDGC Seniors continued their season of friendly matches with a 4 to 2 home win against Easingwold, followed by a narrow (3 ½ to 2 ½) defeat away at Leeds Golf Club (Cobble Hall). This was a new fixture for us and was played in sunny conditions on a course that was both challenging and fair.

Our return match at Easingwold was played on 10 June. All games were closely fought and Easingwold just managed the win to even things over the two legs.

A reminder to all Seniors that our next matches are as follows:

11 July  Cobble Hall      (Home)

15 July  Hickleton          (Away)

1  Aug   Scarthingwell   (Home)

If you have considered playing for the Seniors but not got round to it, why not put your name down for one (or more) of these matches – you can be assured of a warm welcome and enjoyable company.

Finally, All PDGC Seniors are invited to join us for our Exchange Day on Thursday 8 August at Cave Castle. Look out for further details on the Senior’s noticeboard in the next few weeks.

Happy Golfing
